Program for establishments with NYS food processor licenses and/or establishments that have failed 3 inspections. The exam portion of the course is not required by the NYS Departure of Agriculture and Markets. Recertification every 2 years (with license application). AFS License #FP00032.
Recommended but not required for certain small establishments (Article 20-C): establishments with gross sales of less than $3 million/year and/or two or less employees (immediate family excluded). For complete details, visit www.agmkt.state.ny.us.
AFS program with optional CFP exam approved for reciprocity by some local health jurisdictions. If you also have a local food service license, call your local health department for reciprocity information.
